We've been having InfiEarth for a long time now, and some of you may not really understand the true meaning of it. Why infinite earth? Why that name of all names? Is there more to it or is it just a name?
InfiEarth is not just a name. It an attitude and a way of life. It is a reaction to the world we live in. Our world has many problems facing it, some of which threaten it's existence. Because we are not advancing fast enough, our world is taking punishment for it. The lack of growth and care is tearing the fabric of society. We are faced with pollution, global warming, natural disasters, hunger, poverty and pandemics. Not a week goes by without a headline concerning these matters.
We are all trying to get solutions but we fail to understand that our attitude is very important in solving this. We first need to believe that it is possible before we try to do it. We need a positive attitude and to foresee it happen. Once we believe in an infinite world where there is infinite possibilities and resources for all who live in it, then we can go onto the next step of being a solution. If each one of us were to dedicate ourselves, with belief, to bring solutions, then we will see our world become a better place.
Go out there and work towards an infinite world.
WITH LOVE...

STOP AND THINK ABOUT THIS
First of all allow me to apologise for having not written anything the past Friday and Monday. We all know Easter was upon us. I too needed some time off away from everything and just have time alone to think about my life. And something dawned on me in the middle of those thoughts. It was more of a voice in my head. "You do realise that one day you might just show up dead in a ditch right?" the voice said. I've never laughed so hard in my laugh. I mean, what could possibly lead to that? I live a very 'dull' life for most right?
Well I was missing the point. The point wasn't how I would die (God help me that I don't end up in a ditch somewhere). The point is that we are all going to die. Now as much as many may think it's okay to lazy around because you are going to die some day, I actually want to focus on the opposite to that. Ask yourself one question. If I were to show up dead in ditch tomorrow, what would people remember me for? Would I be remembered as the ditch corpse? Or would I be remembered for something more positive?
How are you living your life? That was the main aim of the voice in my head. To remind me that I need to give life my best. Very often we get too comfortable and forget to keep chasing greatness. But we forget that tomorrow is not promised. I just want to challenge all of you to go out there with positivity, aiming to be the best you can be. Contribute positively into the world and help make it a better place. That way if you end dead in a ditch somewhere, we will remember you good works. You will be remembered as the person who did a lot for society. Be an answer in this life. Spread positive energy.

WHY WORRY
In his song Three Little Birds, Bob Marley said " Don't worry about a thing 'Cause every little thing gonna be alright". Everyday we see people worrying. I too worry many times. We as human tend to give worry a lot of power than we should.
I have recently been in a very difficult position. A position wherein I wasn't and still am not sure of what will happen, since all the power to make things work for the best lies in someone's hands. And that is the case with many of us out there. There's always that something that keeps us worrying, which we have no control over. We worry because we do not know what decision or action the person in control will take.
But have you ever asked yourself, 'What will worrying do' ? Will worrying influence the person to take a decision in your favour? Will worrying make things any better? Why then are you wasting your time worrying when you know your worry will do nothing positive for you? Worrying will only take away from your mental and physical health. Worrying is like choosing to pick up a ton and putting it on your back, especially when you have no control over what you are worrying about. It will only hurt you and weigh you down. Let go of the worry because there is nothing it will do for you.
Once you start realising that worrying does nothing for you, you will start seeing that it is a waste of time to worry. Why do something that will not benefit you in any way? Why give it so much power?
Do not be anxious. Do not worry. It will only take away your focus.

WE ARE ALL JUST PIECES OF A PUZZLE
Running a blog is not easy. You always must find something with
value to offer your readers. It's much harder when you are first starting out
and having a small circle of readers. It is easy to give up everything.
However, it takes a special form of realisation to be able to carry on writing
even if it means only one person reading your blog.
Everyone is equally important.
It is the realisation of this that has given me strength to write again. Even if there was only one soul reading my blogs, I'd still carry on because that one person is just as important as a thousand people. Besides helping me to write again, it has taught me a very powerful lesson
about life and people. These days it is very easy to disregard a person simply
because we think we do not need them. With the influence of social media and
the desire to fit into the higher class, we often find ourselves discarding
people. Sometimes we feel that we are way above such people or better than
them.
We fail to understand that we
are all like pieces to a puzzle. Without that one person, the puzzle is not
complete. Everyone we come across has a purpose to serve. Some bring us memories,
and some give us lesson. While this may sound like it's against discarding a
person, it isn’t. What this is against, is discarding someone from the moment
we meet them. It's okay to cut off someone after they have hurt you or 'taught
you a lesson'. But do not just simply judge a book by its cover. Many times, I
too, have been disregarded before the person even knew my name. And funny
enough, most times the people end up realising the mistake they have made but
by then they have missed out on a lot. Sometimes the very same people end
needing my help. I am not innocent myself either. I am guilty of having done it
before.
Give everyone a chance because
you never know when/if you will need the person tomorrow. That person you are
being rude to because they aren't your type or in your class, might hold the
answer to your success one day. That same person might help you in life
threatening circumstances. Remember to be kind to everyone, so they remember
your kindness next time you need their assistance. And never say never.

JUMP
Life will always have a way of throwing us into situations that will make us experience all sorts of feelings. But one actually stood out for me today after witnessing a minor accident while on my way to work. No one was hurt in the accident, but the accident got me thinking of how it might have been to be in that vehicle. Fear got hold of me instantly, thinking of the fact that I was also in transit. And as always, it got me reflecting on how much fear often hinders us from achieving a lot of things.
So many of us abandon many mission because of fear. But fear is a double-edged sword. It can either make you or break you. For those who give in, it breaks them. For those who find adventure in it, it makes them. But there's only 2 ways to it. BREAK OR MAKE. But how do you tackle fear and come out victorious all the time? Well, let me sum it up in a short poem that I wrote for myself:
Take a step back son
Open your eyes wide
Take in the view
And scale it.
It can't be that big right?
Or maybe it is.
Not a lot has caved in
Sure it's not a crack
But it can't be that big.
Either way you can't go back
And there's no way it can be fixed.
You've come far
You've seen worse
You have no choice
Backward and forward are all the same
Will you stay in one place?
Sit down and tremble like a small boy?
Or will you move to another place?
The bridge has caved in both sides
Scale it hard kid
Prepare yourself
Close your eyes
And jump
Or stay and starve.
But always remember
Do not open your eyes
Until your feet touch the other side.

PRICE YOURSELF RIGHT
Guilt is a very complicated feeling, which is bound to return if a lesson is not learned. I too am writing this having been inspired by guilt. I wasn't aware of it until someone mentioned it at just the right time while doing a future career path analysis with me in an interview.
I was sitting in an interview not so long ago, and one statement really hit hard and brought out a lot of guilt which made me realise all along I had been doing things wrong. "You are selling yourself short in your CV and it is very bad". That statement got me thinking and made me realise that it's not only in the CV but in everyday life. And it is not just me alone, but a lot of people out there, some of whom I know personally. We often make this mistake because we are trying to be humble. Sometimes we sincerely think that's what we are worth, but we end up being insincere. The outcome is usually that we lose opportunities.
I wasn't going to write this, but I've realised a lot of us youth do not take such a matter seriously. We overprice ourselves on social media but when it comes to real matter we are way below market value. We focus our energy in the wrong places and wonder why we see no fruits for our actions. If we could focus the same energy we put on social media, to make ourselves attractive to business and career opportunities, we would see exponential growth in both learning and finances. On social media we never leave out the details. We make sure they know everything. But on real matters we often leave out a lot. A lot of courses, certificates, related hobbies, achievements, unique features, competitive attributes etc, are all left out. The reality is the people that can help us in those areas aren't supposed to figure it out, we are supposed to tell them. Their work is only to verify. So, if really you have something there is no need to leave it out in the details, no matter how small it might be.
However, do not lie when pricing yourself or make promises you know you can't keep or come close to achieving. This is the other reason why we sometimes undersell ourselves; we are trying not to overprice things. But to say do not overprice yourself doesn't mean you should under-price yourself. Find your right price. Sometimes it takes asking those around you to review your strength and reflecting on those answer, then sifting through it until you build a strong and solid basis. It's not going to be done overnight, but whatever effort you put into establishing your right price will determine the results.
Go out and price yourself right.
