The truth about loneliness

Loneliness does not exist because we do not have people in our lives. It exists because we think we need people to not be lonely. We are not happy with ourselves and being our own sole company. It's a mindset thing. We become overdependent on others to not feel lonely.

But the truth is that other are not there to take away our loneliness. It is our own duty to make sure we are not lonely. This will lead to us being happy and sociable. It is our happiness and sociability which will then attract other people into our lives. Do not get it wrong. You do not need to first attract others to be happy and sociable. You need to be happy and sociable first before you can attract anyone.

We are like flowers. A lonely person is like a dying flower. No one dares to pick a dying flower because it has no beauty for anyone to embrace. It is surrounded by death. But here is the good thing about life. As much as we are like flowers, we are flowers which create their own water to water themselves. Your water comes from within. Your inner being is the fountain that will determine the survival of your garden of flowers. You can let it dry out and all will die. Or you can let it flow into a stream that waters your garden.

When you let it flow from within and water the garden, you become a blossoming flower. A happy, smiling and satisfied person is like a blossoming flower. Where ever they go, they carry life and warmth with them. Their presence is always felt. The people around cannot help but notice the bright flower. They get attracted to the blossoming flower. The people we attract are like bees that help us in pollination and to bear fruits which ought to bear. They only add on what is already there. Where there's no flower, there's no bees, and no fruit can come forth. These people we attract are there to help us improve on what is already good.

A dying flower, however, does not attract any bees. The only thing it will attract is a blade which will cut it off and throw it away, because it is ruining the beauty of the garden. That is why the more you expect people to take away your loneliness, the more lonelier it gets and the more people always walk away. No bee sees the need for a dying flower.

Remember always: It is only you who can get rid of the loneliness. It is all up to you.

STILL WE RISE

The sun rotated the earth lighting it
The moon was its eyes in the night
They blessed us and we became stars
Stars that shine in the daylight
And shine even brighter when night comes.

The winds will blow all the time
But no wind can blow the stars off the sky
Dogs may bark all they want
But they are too inaudible to stars
Each night the winds blow and dogs bark
But neither doth taketh away from the shine
The stars shine brighter with no care
Because stars will always be stars
Dogs will die, and winds come and go.
But stars last to eternity and give birth to more stars.

It's time to let go
